NB. (1) Special ministries carried out by the Waldensian church: social,
welfare and cultural projects.
It can also be pointed out that the 1998 voluntary Covenant funds,ie.the
sum deductable from Income Tax (IRPEF) of Italian citizens in favour of
the Roman Catholic church, ammounted to lire 42 billion, equal to 5% of
total sum needed for maintenance of clergy.
