NEV- Protestant News, set up in 1971, is the official press agency of the Italian Federation of Protestant Churches (FCEI). The main activities of NEV at the present time are:a weekly bulletin (sent via e-mail), a monthly printed bulletin (monthly news and review), a monthly bulletin in English, press communications. NEV also organizes press conferences and the activities of the Press Office during the Synod week of the Waldensian and Methodist churches. In all, it is concerned with promoting and furthering contact with the press so as to generally foster Protestant news and information (in a country where Protestantism is virtually unknown).
